July started with me finding this gem from when Ryan got home from his mission. He is so hot. No wonder I fell in love with him.
We went to a movie. But it wasn't Hotel Transylvania 2. I'm actually not sure why this picture is even in here.
We have been doing a lot of fire pit cooking on the front porch, as our back yard is still under construction.
4th of July:
Sunday nap:
Kathleen and Cody did chalk art of themselves while Ryan and Brandon played football over the street.
That is not a noose. But I can't remember what Cody said it was.
Ryan and I went to a Hawks game without the kids.
I decided to take the family on a "Southern Idaho Parks" tour. We started with Craters of the Moon.
Then we went to Shoshone Indian Ice Caves.
Then Malad Gorge.
Then Hagerman Fossil Beds.
Brandon let the Hygienist clean his teeth. I realize that this may not seem noteworthy, but at our house this is a huge accomplishment.
We watched the All Star game. Ryan had a hat to support whoever happened to be up.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHLEEN!!
For softball practice on Kathleen's birthday, we had a fun wiffle ball game and went swimming with the team.
Cody loves to swim with his friends.
For Kathleen's birthday party she had a movie premier themed party.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CODY!!
Tucanos
Cody's favorite gift:
People have been asking how the basement is coming along. This gives you an idea of the awful situation we are currently in. Yes, that is water from the water table coming right on in like it belongs there.
For Cody's birthday we went to play laser tag. But when we got there, we did bumper boats instead. Needless to say I was not dressed appropriately. Then Cody asked me to be his passenger. Then he went and parked his boat under a waterfall, just for me.
We dried off on the slick track.
We have the best back yard neighbors. They gave the kids birthday candy over the fence. And in case you are wondering, Ryan gave out a crown to a different girl after each softball game (since their team name was the Royals). Kathleen got the crown on this particular day.
We went to Spokane to visit family and look what we saw when we got there:
Grandpa showed off his 3-D printer.
My in-laws stake does the coolest Pioneer Day celebration.
Swimming with cousins:
Hiking with cousins:
Doing hair with cousin:
Making messes with cousins:
Reading with cousins (did I mention that we LOVE cousins).
Grammy and Pompa gave Cody a bday gift.
Ryan's parents sold their house. So here is one last picture of Ryan in front of his childhood home.
And one last back-to-school picture with his sister.
We went to a cabin at the lake. Can all the cousins get on one paddle board?
Brandon LOVES babies.
Ryan and I did a little 5k fun run for Pioneer Day.
