Uncle Dan, Graduation, Cody is 6!

Dr. Payne pulled Brandon's tooth.  Seems appropriate, right?  Although I don't think Brandon felt much pain.  But his last rotten tooth is gone!  Hooray!
 Uncle Dan took us boating:

We went to Rexburg to be with Aunt Lissa and Uncle Clayton.  They graduated from College.  It was such a fun weekend with them.  I wish we had more time there.

Cody wanted to celebrate his 6th birthday (that's right, my baby is 6) with Angry Birds!  So he got a new shirt on his birthday morning to wear.

We played a bowling version of angry birds.
 Cody got really into it:

Kathleen is 10!

Today our sweet baby girl turned 10!  Man we are old.  I think she had the best day ever.  At least that is what she kept saying.  This evening the kids did a triathlon.  It was super fun.

 Brandon:
Brandon was so excited that he got to stay with his buddy, Noah the whole time.
A training wheel fell off of Cody's bike, so I had to run and push his handle bars and hold him up while he whined the entire time.  At least I got a good work out.
Cody is so fun though.  The whole time he was riding his bike (before the training wheel fell of) and when he was walking (instead of running), he was looking at clouds and animals and the lakes and kept telling us how beautiful everything was.  He sure lives in his own special world of happiness.
He ran for the finish line.
We took Kathleen to Tucanos for her birthday.  She also got an iTouch.  She is sooo excited about it and thinks we are the best parents ever, for now.  I took her to the mall to the apple store and walked in and said, "This little lady needs an iTouch!"  She had no idea.  She started jumping up and down and squealing like a little school girl.  It was so cute.

All ready for the swimming portion of the triathlon (apparently these pictures are in no order of any kind).
Kathleen was so fast.  Her competition is still in the water.  First place by a long shot on the swim.
Same with Brandon.  Who would have thought that my kids were super fast swimmers?
Not quite so with Cody.  Although he came in 2nd.  And when you compare it to his biking and running, he is Speedy Gonzales in the water.

Kathleen had a Miss America mystery birthday party.  It was the most fun ever.  Each girl did a talent for it, which was the best part.  But it was also fun trying to discover who stole the crown diamond.
 Kathleen rapped for her talent.

 Happy 10th birthday sweet girl!

Camping

We went on a camping trip to the lake this week.  It was super fun hanging just us.  Brandon saved up his money and bought a bow & arrow set.  It was the highlight of the week.

For some reason the kids thought they had to dance on this log the ENTIRE time.  Whenever they walked by it, they had to jump on and dance.  They even had a few competitions.
When all your kids are bent over digging in sand, you have to take a picture.
 We love the rope swing.

The "pit".  Ryan got it in his mind that we had to dig a pit.  So we did.
At the bottom of the pit we found clay.  So of course, they had to get painted.

 Dad's turn:
Brandon spent a lot of time teaching Cody how to shoot the arrows.
 Inside a tree:

Kathleen was way into doing hair the whole time and always wanted us to match.  I think she did a pretty good job.
Cody loved roasting "Star Wars", AKA starbursts.  Anyone who knows Cody will know that some how, some way, he always has pockets stuffed with candy.  If you ever wanted a starburst, all you had to do was ask Cody, because he always had a rather large stash in his pockets.
 I love Ryan!

 Our cardboard oven:

The best way to get a ringer is to stand 3 feet from your target.

On the last morning before coming home we had just one hot dog left.  Brandon cooked it up and ate it for breakfast.
