So we are fully in the thick of baseball season. Brandon has games/practices 4 days a week, Kathleen has softball 4 days a week and Cody twice a week. So pretty much we eat, drink, breathe ball right now. But secretly I think Ryan LOVES it. Me, I love it too, but it is a little to busy for my liking. But I do love watching my kids play ball. Here is Brandon:
He is the world's cutest little pitcher:
Cody made a birthday card for his best friend, Autumn. I didn't even know, but he sure did a cute job. I was so impressed that he taped a dollar from his allowance to the back for her.
I made these fun little Easter gifts for the ladies I visit teach:
At one of Cody's games, Kathleen and Brandon huddled together under an umbrella. They were so cute.
Cody:
We had an Easter Egg Hunt at our house with a prize table this year:
Amazingly, Ryan got all the kids in a straight line to head over from the park:
These are some of the fun ladies I get to work out with occasionally:
Brandon has been saving for almost a year to try and buy an iPod. He was giddy with excitement when he discovered he has $100 in 20 dollar bills (I trade him for his small bills).
Cody got to play catcher. He was so cute...until he got hit with a ball that missed his pad. But like a trooper, he got back out there.
Cody lost a tooth:
Kathleen won the game ball at her softball game. She should win it almost every time. She is an amazing little softball player. I love watching her. At least once during every game, I get to yet, "That my kid!"
The kids had to go on a hunt together this year to get their Easter baskets. It took a minute or two, but they finally figured out how to do it and get along.
I finally had to document what the bathroom looks like when Kathleen gets a hold of it. I am so tired of fighting her to clean up after herself. This is going in the "embarrass" vault for later.
The kids found their baskets...and a new trampoline!
Brandon was so cute working on his pinewood derby car.
We took the kids to see Wicked:
Easter dinner (apparently none of these pictures are in order).
We colored eggs on Sunday evening right before bed. Nothing like waiting to the very last second.
Yes, they ate them while they were still a little wet. Weird-os.
Some of the boys at the pinewood derby:
I did a 90 day fitness challenge. These are the only girls left at the end of it. I'm not sure where the rest went (yes I am. They slept in and ate sweets. I'm a little jealous). But I won a prize for being the most dedicated.
Kathleen:
During one of Brandon's baseball games (and Kathleen's practice) we got some crazy lightning and had to cancel everything. By the time we got to the car, there was a torrential downpour. If you look closely, you can see hail. We had fun running through it. Although the hail kind of hurt.
Boys love Legos:
I know this is totally inappropriate, but since this is what I see every time I walk by the bathroom and Cody is in it, I figured you had to see it too. He never shuts the door. But this time, it was worse because he was eating while he was going. So gross!
Brandon missed a baseball and got a black eye. But I keep telling everyone that I punched him in the face to get him back for my black eye last month. For some reason no one believes me.
Cody and Autumn at the 2nd grade picnic:
Kathleen's cute team:
I got to play my violin with a friend at a bar. She is a talented singer and played the bass guitar. Her band is 2Topia if you want to look her up (she is the one sitting right behind me in the picture). The best part was when a bunch of cute Mormon women walked in to the bar to support us. We got a picture with some of them. Fun ladies!
