I Love Springtime!

I have a ton of random pictures on my camera, so here they go. For Easter the kids got more train tracks. So Kathleen and Brandon had a blast playing with the trains. Here is cute Ryan in his new Easter shirt. Isn't he handsome?
The kids and I planted some seeds to start inside. They had so much fun with it.
Cody was Batman and Brandon was Alfred. He kept serving Cody. It was pretty funny.
Does this bring back any major flashbacks?
Kathleen's Easter dress.

And she got a skirt that she can wear whenever she wants (since we usually make her take her dress off after church).
I went to this PTA conference thing and they sent me home with some smelly pencils for my kids. The kids LOVED them and didn't let them out of their site all day on Saturday.
I know I am no photographer, but I had to take pictures of some of my favorite things right now. I love springtime and all the flowers everywhere. These are just some from our yard. This is from our ornamental pear tree.
This is from our Mt.St.Helen's plum tree.
This is from our peach tree.
And this is the lilac that we got from grandma.
And this is the best of all. The boys happily playing away together in the sand box. They are such good buds. I have never seen anything like the way these two boys play. They are such good friends and really don't fight nearly as much as I expected they would. I love my boys.

We were extra spoiled this year for Easter.

We all got new Red Sox shirts.
The kids got Leapsters/Didjs. They played with them all day.

Spring Break

We went to visit family for Spring break and had a blast. I didn't take pictures of everything, which is good, because there are a ton here. So enjoy:

This is how our boys slept while we were there. Super cute.
Cody loves the leopard. He tucked it in with his pillow and blanket.
We went to Riverfront Park.
Ryan and his wonderful mom.

The garbage-eating goat (and some other random kids that got in the picture):

My dad is an amazing guitarist. And he sings too. It is so nice.
Grandma and Brandon played Lincoln logs for like an hour.
Jon and Michelle had a super fun announcement for us. It was Jon's birthday so he opened a present and then told us it was really for us and held this up:

Cody is "the Joker".
Hiking/Geocaching:

Mark's dad passed away while we were there. I know it is weird to say, but it was such a blessing to be there with Mark through it. We got to hear stories and see pictures of things we otherwise wouldn't have. He was such a trooper and still spent a lot of time playing hard with us.

I had the funnest time golfing with my dad. He is quite good.

But I guess when he golfs with me, this is where he spends most of his time. :)

Me and my sister, Emily. I rarely see her, so it was so nice to get some time with her.
The Easter version of the "candy game".
On the way home, the Pirates of the Caribbean song came on and the boys started pretend sword fighting.
And just so all you family know how much we love you, this is what we endured on the way home. The absolutes worst storms I have ever driven through. Roads were closed all over the place. It was so scary. I am just glad we eventually made it home. Ryan is such a great driver.
I know, I know. What the heck? It is spring break...April for crying out loud. But we had a wonderful week.
