November

We went to Utah to visit our cousin Xander for his baptism.  Here we all are waiting for the train:

The kids loved seeing the statue Grandpa told them stories about.

 Walking on the moon:

 Cody at school:
I told the boys to get ready for bed.  They came down looking like this:
I took my cub scouts on a tour of the local fire station:
I am not sure why this picture is here.  I guess this is a random one of Ryan and me with our world series shirts on:
Brandon has been learning about planets at school, and loving every minute of it.
Kathleen works in the kitchen at school. She is so cute:
I have been playing volleyball with the most fun group of girls:
Ryan and I accidentally matched for church one day:
Brandon sang a solo in his school concert and was soooo cute (see previous post):
Our friend Stacy had a birthday on 11-12-13:

We had tithing settlement after church, so we had to eat lunch in our church clothes.  The kids looked so cute all dressed up with aprons on.
Ryan and I finally got our sweatshirts we ordered.  LOVE THEM!!!

Brandon has been playing basketball.  He sure is cute.

Brandon's Solo

For those of you who do not know, Brandon is viciously shy.  So when he told us he tried out for a solo part in his school performance, we were floored.  But then when he got the part and sang his heart out, we were even more amazed.  Enjoy watching our little shy boy take on the world.

World Series Baby!!!

Ryan and I got to live out one of his bucket list items this week.  We traveled to St. Louis to go watch our beloved Red Sox take on the Cardinals.  When we arrived at the airport, here is the first thing we saw:
Of course, there was an arch to welcome Cardinal's Fans.  We walked through it anyway.
Our hotel was this super old refurbished hotel.  It was pretty cool looking.
One of the elevators was broken.  It reminded me of the Big Bang Theory tv show.  So I had to get a picture.
St. Louis is super fun.  there is random art everywhere.  But mostly, the people were the kindest and most friendly people I have ever met in my entire life.
The water was dyed red in honor of the Cardinals.

I stuck my hand in the Mississippi river.  Ryan was a little grossed out by it, but I bet the railing in the arch had more germs.  I did, however, refrain from rubbing my hand all over his face.  I can have self control sometimes.
Ryan looks small compared to the base of the arch.
The door for the elevator was tiny:
And the elevator was so small that one of the people with our group wouldn't get on.

 Top of the arch:
 Views from the arch:

 Oh yes, the stadium:

 Union Station:
 BBQ:
 It's time for the game:

I got interviewed by a news station in Maine.  Too bad I will never get to watch it (not really.  I am really dumb on camera always!).

You can see the arch from the stadium.  Kind of fun.
Big Papi and his son fielded balls during batting practice.  They are so cute.
The blimp (not Ryan...in the background):
Ryan is living out his dream:
 Jacoby's backside:
He looked right at us.  I say he winked at me.  Ryan may not agree, but I am not going to let him take this fantasy from me!
 The view from our seats:
After the game.  The Sox WON!!!!!
Riding the metro to the airport:
And, of course, my little obsession with clouds was fed really well on the airplane ride home.
Brandon snuggled Grandma in the car on the ride home from the airport.
 Grandpa made us crepes.
While we were gone, we missed the kids piano recital.  Luckily for us, I have amazing parents who video recorded it for us.  The kids were so cute.  And I think they preferred having my parents there.

We made it home just in time to celebrate Halloween.
