Sawtooth Relay

I had the great privileged of running the Sawtooth Relay this year with some amazing girls (though, as a disclaimer, I really missed the girls I ran it with last year). We camped out on Friday night at Redfish Lake. It was beautiful. We spent a lot of time in this van:

Our start time was 4:00 a.m.

The view was breath taking the whole way.

We finished strong. But mostly, we finished.
Our cool new shirts:
The husbands threw us an after party with Costco cake.

School's Out for Summer

School is finally out for summer. We had a picnic for the end of the school year. They had such great teachers this year. It was nice weather. What a fun last day of school.

Graduation and Recitals

Kathleen had her ballet recital this weekend. She was so beautiful and did such a great job. She really is starting to look like a ballerina.

Cody "gradulated" from preschool. He was soooo cute. Ryan got harassed for taking time off work to go to a graduation for a kid who hasn't even started school yet. But it was precious.
Singing the national anthem:

Nothing is cuter than having your child wave at you from stage.

Mohawk boys:
Kathleen was really excited about her bun before her recital and wanted me to take a picture of it.
Kathleen got to go on stage with about 6 kids before her performance for being at her dance studio for 5 years. She even got a trophy.

Red Sox Baseball

The kids are now officially back into their baseball season. All three of them are on the Red Sox teams. Hooray! On the way to the first game, Cody fell asleep in the car.Cody:
Brandon (who we call Jacoby because he is wicked fast):

Kathleen (we call her Big Papi because she hits harder than anyone on her team and can't run worth a darn):
Here are some fun videos to watch:

Random Stuff from May

Kathleen got to be in this fun play at school for the "gifted/talented" class. It was all about Biomes and she was one of the three main characters. It was pretty exciting.Cody went on a field trip to the nature center.

He wasn't too sure about posing with this bear:

Kathleen and I went on a date to the Cheesecake Factory. She LOVED their clam chowder. And I must admit, it was really good.
The opera came to the kids school and Kathleen got to be in it. It was pretty fun for her. And they were AMAZING!
Kathleen also got to play the part of a cactus in her school play.
Brandon tried out for the talent show and didn't make it. He threw baseballs at a target. He decided next year he needed to practice more and was a real good sport about the whole thing.
Brandon's first grade performance:
On Memorial Day weekend our pool opens up. So even though it was freezing out and a little rainy, Ryan and the kids had to go for a swim. It was no surprise to me that we had the pool to ourselves. But they had a good time (the crazy people!).

We went on our picnic in jackets:
I am not entirely sure what these two are doing here, but it was funny.
Then we went to the zoo.
And had a mad game of whiffle ball. It was cold and rainy, but we still had a fun Memorial Day weekend.
Kathleen had a field trip to the park with the 3rd graders. It was fun.
And while Brandon didn't make it in the talent show, Kathleen did. She played Jumping Jazz Cat and did a fantastic job.
Here is a cruddy picture of Kathleen in the opera.
